Create Custom Langki Note Types

Langki is simply an Anki template, so you can also clone it to create custom templates tailored to different types of exercises.

If you don’t know how to create a new note type, watch this video first.

In this tutorial, I’ll create a custom template for speaking practice.

First, I will clone the Langki - Prototype and name the new note type Langki - Speaking.

With this note type, I only need two fields: Speaking Question and Hint.

Since I’ll be using AI to evaluate the answer, the back of the flashcard isn’t needed. I’ll set it to 'N/A' just to prevent the AI from generating flashcards automatically.
